Looking for a stylish wood sink?

 My name is Janno. Few years ago I decided to make myself an unique 

bathroom. I wanted to make  something that no one has ever done 

before. I decided that sink made of plywood will easily create the 

uniqueness. Back then I had not heard anything about plywoodsinks, so 

I decided to make it myself.

Since my first  sink has been ready, I´ve been asked a lot of questions 

about it. The main questions are always about it´s watertightness. Does 

it really keep water from leaking?

Yes it does, perfectly.

Like wood so has plywood been used in shipping industries for 

centuries. Plywood will last decades if you take care of it right.

In my sinks I use only high-quality marine plywood made of mahogany 

and teak. Those plywoods themselves are waterproof even without any 

kind of finishing. 

I´ve done many different experiments to test its quality and durability. 

For example I held a piece of plywood under water for 3 months and 

actually nothing happened to it. A bit of water soaked in it but it kept 

its thickness and shape. 

In elaboration I use scratchproof flooringoil or very strong lacquer.
